I joined Bizimply as a co-founder and Head of Product. My role is impossible to describe but ultimately my focus was on creating simple solutions to complex problems for hospitality and retail businesses. I worked on all teams in Bizimply to ensure that we created solutions that make a difference to our customers - and to ensure we actually got customers! Bizimply is a workforce management platform that allows businesses to increase productivity, improve employee engagement while lowering and maintaining labour costs through scheduling, attendance and more.
I left Bizimply in 2019 to gain more experience working with larger design and product teams. During my 6 years with Bizimply we went from 0 to 500+ clients, €1M+ in annual revenues, 20+ staff and raised over €2.5M in funding. It was an amazing journey for me and Bizimply is still going strong today.

We designed and produced a publicaton with the The LAB gallery in Dublin. It was booklet about Break Bread Open, an event held as part of Liverpool and Dublin’s Cultural Corridor. We packaged it in a box and included loose imagery from the event.
Studying product design allowed me to understand the creative thinking processes. I learned the fundamentals of research and how to understand user behaviour and the psychology of design. The course gave me varied skill set but also allowed me to understand how to communicate better as a designer and how important communication skills are when working on any project.

It allowed users to stay balanced and supported at all times with ample room for various tools required to complete any task. Ergonomics and user behavior were a key aspect of study in this project along with exploring manufacturing options including rotational molding and material selection.
